I had a fabulous doctor. I researched the reversals online for almost a year before I went under the knife, and I want to share my personal experience on this issue. First it seems like a great idea and it is for most people because the statistics say 95% of tubaligations are reversable. My odds were good I had my tubes tied at 20 yrs. old and most doctors would spare as much tube as possible in such a young patient. I am only 30 yrs. old and healthy as a horse, so there was no reason to ASSUME I would not be a good candidate. I called Dr. Kayani's (dr. that tied my tubes) office and faxed over a request for my op report but I never got a response or an op report. If this is something you are looking into and you are unable to get your op report I would suggest you have an HSG procedure done. They run dye through your tubes to get an idea if they are repairable. It's not fool proof, but is can help you save $6,400 if there is any indication that your tubes can't be repaired. My doctor found during the surgery that my tubes were completely burned and scarred, so he did all he can do by removing the scarred tuba and creating a new opening at the end of the 2 cm I had left out if 10 cm. This procedure is called a neosalpingostomy. The end of your fallopian tube called the fimbria is what has little hairs called cilia that catches the egg when you ovulate and leads it down your tube which is also lined with the hairs. The opening he created has those little hairs, but my tubes are skinny nubs and only the proximal tube remains. HOW THE HELL IS AN EGG GONNA FIND THAT? Needless to say I was in the 5% of women that tubes were not able to be repaired sucessfully. I still try to conceive and pray for a miracle. So if that happens, I will keep you informed, but so far I have made it my mission to educate people so you can avoid any possible heartache and debt. So, if I help anyone out there this would not have been in vain. I am signing off saying have a great Sunday!

Infertility* This one is for my beautiful sister *by Crystal

My sister also has infertility issues. She is a way different situation. She married the perfect redneck. He's a little cute, kinda sweet, and very annoying. I knew the minute he farted in front of me the first time we met he was perfect for her! Well, let me start by saying that my sister is my best friend and the best thing that has ever happened to me besides my children. She is 4 years younger but was always the more responsible one. She has helped me through alot being a single parent, and anytime I am at a loss with the kids my sister and brother in law are there to tie up the lose ends. Yes him too. Well, they have been trying to conceive for 3 years with no luck. They recently went to a fertility clinic and their fears were confirmed. My brother in law is now 31 had cancer when he was a baby. He went through both chemo and radiation treatment. He is alive and well today thank you God, but because of his treatment he was left with a low sperm count. Don't get this wrong the count is low he does have some baby juice. The only way for them to have a baby is through In-vitro. Now, they make an ok living, but IVF cost are $12,000-$15,000. This happens to so many people insurance will not cover any of it so basically if they want to be parents they have to go deep into debt or be rich. I am so hurt because she is truly worthy above any person I have ever met to truly be a mother. She has a beautiful nursery set up already to go and a wardrobe for both a baby prince and princess. Through my sister and brother in laws heartache over this past summer of 2009 they had a dear friend whom was a young father at age 31 who consequently died of cancer and she poured all she had left into him and his family. This girl is still not down she hurts at times but always picks herself back up. She has the faith of an Angel and will still tell anyone she will have her baby! I have vowed to myself that I will do whatever it takes to help her. She has always done what she can to help me and GOD does not let that go with out blessings. If anyone out there can help or point me in a direction to figure a way for some or any of the fees she will need I am asking for any info. PLEASE everyone help me, help my sister.

Infertility* Dr. Kayani Beaumont, TX tubaligation *Crystal

My name is Crystal and I want to share my story. I am 30 yrs. old and was married young and by age 20 I had 2 beautiful boys. I thought me and their dad would live happily ever after so when my youngest was born we decided to get my tubes tied. Anthony (my youngest son) was born in Beaumont, TX. and was delivered by Dr. Khalid Kayani. He was also the Dr. that did my tubaligation right after Anthony was born. Well, happily ever after ended a year later and I got divorced. Now lets fast forward to 10 years later. I am now with a wonderful man who has no children of his own, but is a wonderful step dad to my boys. A year ago we started talking about having our own baby and six months ago decided to go for it. Well, june 2009 I underwent a tubal reversal by one of the most prominent doctors in the USA. His findings were that my tubes were burned and scarred all the way leaving 2 cm left out of 10cm I started with. Tubiligations are across the board known to damage about 3 cm of tube but Dr.Khalid Kayani destroyed 8 cm. In all the years my doctor has practiced he said that he had never seen such brutality. He also said that Dr. Khalid Kayani knew better than to be so carelesst with a girl that is only 20 years old. Any doctor that practices medicine should practice with ethics. My doctor said that what was done to me was unethical. After waisting $6,400 my only option to have a baby is In-Vitro! THANKS FOR F!@$%*$ me up DR.
